This is taken beneath the shade of a big old sycamore tree, looking from Plockton towards the Applecross peninsula. I spent countless childhood hours in the branches of this tree and running through the meadow grass and wildflowers which stretch away into the distance. Happy memories.

About greenmackenzie
Hi, I'm Seonaid, and I share my home on the shores of Loch Ness deep in the Scottish Highlands with my husband, my son and a couple of dogs. I love art which is here now and gone tomorrow...like food and nature...but also have a passion for vintage and the ancient past! Nature is my favourite muse, with her wild ever shifting seasons. I have been using and teaching mindfulness and relaxation for over 12 years, and have yet to become any sort of expert :-) I'm a Psychotherapist and Cancer Support Specialist in Maggies Highlands
Never been there and don’t even know where it is, but I love the sharpness of the shade and the way the town and hills just flow with each other. Thanks.
Thank you…I kind of love that too:-) If you’re interested its near Skye, on the West coast of Scotland.
Great photo.
Thanks! It’s one of my favourite places in the world:-)
