Autumn light glitters
A new day fresh from rose folds
Gathered by shadows.
The stillness of the morning caught my breath, and had me dashing back inside for my camera. These were taken last week in the garden, where the roses continue to bloom with summers abandon, despite the fading light of autumn. I’m writing this from the comfort of a deep sofa, somewhere in a lounge in the depths of Gatwick airport, trying to summon the tranquility of early morning sun in the garden.
We’re headed off for a couple of weeks, and so I won’t be commenting as often as usual on everyone’s blogs, but promise to catch up as soon as I can.
Hi, I'm Seonaid, and I share my home on the shores of Loch Ness deep in the Scottish Highlands with my husband, my son and a couple of dogs. I love art which is here now and gone tomorrow...like food and nature...but also have a passion for vintage and the ancient past! Nature is my favourite muse, with her wild ever shifting seasons. I have been using and teaching mindfulness and relaxation for over 12 years, and have yet to become any sort of expert :-) I'm a Psychotherapist and Cancer Support Specialist in Maggies Highlands

Lovely images Seonaid – it’s that time of year; when the flowers still bloom but the evening’s cool leaves them in a coat of dew each morning. I’m headed out this week for several early morning shoots and hope the weather and doesn’t disappoint. Enjoy your journey!
