Magical Levitating Dogs

Surprise!

Maisie and snowball surprise

Some of you have been saying that it looks as though I live in a magical fairy tale land….so to extend this theme I though I would share some secret footage of my magical levitating dogs. In the first shot you see Maisie gathering her power and preparing for take off.

Snowball Lift off

And here you see her hovering above the ground. Snowballs seem to boost their powers and give them special lift.

Young Molly hasn’t fully developed her powers yet and so remains earthbound, but she is building her acceleration speeds close to the sound barrier now.

This one's mine!

In these last shots you can see Willow showing off her specialty …..levitating out of water.

The joy and the fun the dogs express through their bodies is amazing. They stretch into every corner of their form, from the tips of their paws to the tips of their tails and noses. You can see the release of tension and stress as they jump and run for pure pleasure. Sometimes I forget to enjoy my body and its amazing range of movements. As always my dogs are great teachers, showing by example how to live fully embodied, in the sheer pleasure of a functioning physical body.

Dancing, running and jumping are pleasures to be relished while you can, because time will certainly try to erode a little of our physicality with every year which passes. So seize the moment and jump as fully as you can, into your body and all of its magical powers.

    • Oh the cats drive the dogs nuts….the cats rule as they can reach heights the dogs can’t. Our oldest dog tries to keep the cats in order but they bring chaos and mayhem…in the way only cats can….and she watches powerless to stop them other than barking. I swear she sees them as tormenting demons and can’t understand why we tolerate them 🙂

Thank you for putting a smile on my face 🙂 They are all terrific, but I particularly like the racing practice shot 🙂

    • Hi Paula, very happy to have made you smile…I was smiling while putting the post together, partly because I was being a little silly, and partly with the fun memories I have of taking these shots 🙂 its good to laugh right?

  13. beautiful.
    and funny 🙂
i feel sorry for who ever has to clean them after lmao 😀
the seventh picture, the golden one seems to be asking “how did you do that!?”

    • Thanks, glad you found it funny…was worried I might be being a bit too silly 🙂 But then is there really such a thing as too silly!

Oh and it’s usually me who has to do the cleaning of dogs….so I try to find some water they can jump in at the end of the walk, just to take off the worst of the dirt. Once they get home they have special self- cleaning fur. It’s great, it just drops out by itself….leaves all the dirt on my chairs and floors 🙂
