Light Seed

20131011-085038.jpg
A seed of light
Birthed from tender petals
Released into the world.
Eternal recreation,
Innocence and fresh hope,
All at the mercy of the worlds sharp claws.
Yet its beauty saves the tiny seed.
It catches our breath
Holds us spell bound in wonder.
Thus we see beautys purpose revealed in the petals of a pink flower.

About greenmackenzie

Hi, I'm Seonaid, and I share my home on the shores of Loch Ness deep in the Scottish Highlands with my husband, my son and a couple of dogs. I love art which is here now and gone tomorrow...like food and nature...but also have a passion for vintage and the ancient past! Nature is my favourite muse, with her wild ever shifting seasons. I have been using and teaching mindfulness and relaxation for over 12 years, and have yet to become any sort of expert :-) I'm a Psychotherapist and Cancer Support Specialist in Maggies Highlands

    Lovely combination.
I hope you don’t mind me mentioning that you have been sabotaged by an apostrophe which should be chased away from “Its” (“it’s” denotes “it is”) and plonked into “world’s”. What a difference one little speck can make! 🙂

    Definitely a spellbinder, Seonaid. 🙂

That photo is incredible!! How did you manage to catch that moment of the light looking like it was coming out of the flower?

    • I was lucky to be in the garden at just the right moment as the rising sun was lifting above the flowers. One of those dream moments for anyone into photography….you just know the light is delicious and snap away 🙂 nature unfolding at her best 🙂

You are amazing. Do you have a website where you sell any of your work? I’ve never really been into photography that much, but your work just speaks to me. It seriously sweeps me away and gives off such a good feeling! It is like I can feel the positive intention coming through the photograph. xxoo.

      • Wow, that’s such a beautiful comment, thank you. I don’t have a website selling my work at the moment, but it’s so funny that you ask because I have just been looking into setting something like this up…just this week! Watch this space for an update. I was thinking of cards and calendars…..perhaps posters? Your comment has come at the perfect moment to encourage me, just like the sun over the flowers 🙂

Hi Seonaid. So glad to hear from you.Have you received any of our photos or email? We have sent several notes to infernal machines, but have not heard back. Do you have another email address? How is Andi ? We are fine and today had to rescue our little granddaughter,Ella, who was stung by a bee at school. She felt better after getting some of her favorite treats.
We think you live in the most glorious part of the world. the nature and climate are exhilarating.
We are still looking for a special dog to join our family. How did you find your dogs and what breed are they? Do you hear from any of our cruise mates? hope someday you come visit in California
Best Wishes and Lots of Hugs, Judy & Stuart
